Ferruginous water fountain of volcanic origin, over 500 years old. Located on the Paseo de San Gregorio, it is the most recognized and iconic monument in Puertollano. At the center of the fountain stands a pillar topped by the bust of Doctor Limón, a professor at the University of Alcalá de Henares who wrote a famous 17th-century book on hydrology: 'Crystal Mirror of the Waters of Spain', which referenced the fountains and springs of Spain, particularly the one in his hometown, Puertollano.
