ACUEDUCTO

This remarkable ancient aqueduct features 167 stunning granite arches and an extensive underground layout, showcasing both beauty and historical engineering.
The Aqueduct of Segovia is probably the best preserved in the world. Built in the 1st century AD, it has 167 granite arches in its monumental part with one and two arcades. Despite its beauty, its construction responded to practical purposes: to transport water from the mountain to the center of the city. It has an underground layout of great interest that extends over more than 15 kilometers.
