PORT OLÍMPIC

This vibrant waterfront area features stunning architecture, a famous fish sculpture, and offers beaches, water sports, and diverse dining options for tourists.
In front of the Vila Olímpica, Port Olímpic was built in 1990 to host the sailing competitions of the 1992 Olympic Games. Designed by Bohigas, Martorell, Mackay, and Puigdomènech, it has 756 berths and is an iconic point of Barcelona. Flanked by the Torre Mapfre and the Hotel Arts, it features Frank Gehry's Fish sculpture. With access to beaches and water sports, since 2020 it has been transformed into a space focused on the maritime economy, nautical activities, and gastronomy.
