Tombatossals is a legendary figure linked to the city of Castelló de la Plana. According to tradition, he was a giant and mythical founder of the city, capable of moving mountains. Together with other giants, he formed the terrain where Castelló is located. He is a cultural symbol represented in festivals, sculptures, and monuments, especially during the Magdalena festivities.
