SYNAGOGUE OF SANTA MARÍA LA BLANCA

The main synagogue of Toledo's Jewish quarter, erected in 1180 and rebuilt in the 13th century. Converted into a Christian temple in 1405, its interior features five naves separated by horseshoe arches on octagonal pillars with pineapple-shaped capitals. It is noted for its Almohad decoration and white walls.
