The Ciudad Real Museum – Convent of La Merced is split into two sites. One hosts the archaeology and paleontology sections of the province. The other is located in a 17th-century former convent and houses an important fine arts collection. Lastly, the Diocesan Museum presents an intriguing collection of religious art from the 12th to 20th centuries, featuring a sculpture group of the Last Supper in its central courtyard.
