TOLEDO GATE

This emblematic monument, with its Hispano-Muslim architecture and rich history, is an unmissable tourist attraction that evokes the medieval past.
King Alfonso X 'The Wise' founded Villa Real in 1255, a walled city with 130 towers and 7 gates, of which only the Puerta de Toledo remains. A symbol of the city, it is a gate of Hispano-Muslim inspiration with two towers and six arches, declared a National Monument in 1915.
