LLEIDA
L’HORTA OF LLEIDA
A natural belt of 19,000 hectares surrounding the city, irrigated by a network of ancient canals and ditches. A space of great natural, historical, and scenic value, with material heritage (chapels, mills, towers) and intangible heritage (traditions, customs, agri-culture). It's also a haven for biodiversity, with notable flora and fauna. In March, the blooming of fruit trees creates a natural spectacle that can be enjoyed on foot, by bike, alone, with friends, or with family.
