This temple stands out for its Mudejar and Gothic style, with an impressive cloister and a surprising interior, ideal for architecture lovers.
The Collegiate Church Santa María la Mayor was declared a Collegiate Church in July 1211. It is of Mudejar style. Its cloister, in pure Gothic style, was built around the year 1469. It has a rectangular layout, made up of three longitudinal naves without a transept. In 1704 and 1705, the two upper sections of the tower were added. Noteworthy features of the façade include the rose window and the entrance. The interior surprises with its magnificent proportions. Its three naves are of unequal height and each has six bays.
