PLAZA DE SAN AGUSTÍN

A charming historic corner with a 17th century baroque church, ideal for enjoying the local culture and architecture.
In the Heart of the Old Quarter It is one of the most charming corners of the old town. Here stands the old church of San Agustín the Elder, now projected as an extension of the Ruiz de Luna Ceramics Museum. It dates from the 17th century. Its façade stands out as the first work by Fray Lorenzo de San Nicolás in the so-called "Brick Baroque" style, a very typical architectural style in Talavera.
