The Carmen Thyssen Museum Málaga is located in the central Villalón Palace, built in the 16th century, on Compañía street, very close to Plaza de la Constitución. It is one of the most prominent art galleries dedicated to costumbrismo and landscape painting in Spain. More than 200 works of Andalusian painting from the 19th century nourish the permanent collection, which is joined by an original agenda of temporary exhibitions and intense cultural and recreational activity.
