ROMAN THEATRE

Adjacent to a historic fortress, this ancient site offers a journey into the Roman past, complemented by an interactive centre on Roman culture.
Next to the Alcazaba, the Roman Theater is revealed as the main preserved vestige of Roman presence in Málaga. Built in the time of Augustus in the 1st century AD, it remained in use until the 3rd century. Adjacent to the Theater, there is a modern Interpretation Center where, through new technologies, you can learn about the life and customs of Roman Málaga.
