ROMAN THEATRE

This ancient Roman theater, dating back to the 1st century AD, offers a glimpse into history, complemented by a modern center showcasing Roman life.
Next to the Alcazaba, the Roman Theater is revealed as the main preserved vestige of Roman presence in Málaga. Built in the time of Augustus in the 1st century AD, it remained in use until the 3rd century. Adjacent to the Theater, there is a modern Interpretation Center where, through new technologies, you can learn about the life and customs of Roman Málaga.
