CATHEDRAL

This impressive building stands out for its height and artistic works, surrounded by a charming baroque setting that attracts tourists.
On the site of the old main mosque is located the Cathedral of the Incarnation, whose traces began around 1530 and was subject to a long construction process, which slowed down in the 18th century. Subsequently, new minor elements were incorporated. Its interior, of exceptional height, houses pictorial and sculptural works of great artistic quality. Outside, Plaza del Obispo stands as a quintessential Baroque enclave with the presence of the Episcopal Palace.
