SAINT PAUL'S SQUARE

SAINT PAUL'S SQUARE

This historic square features a stunning church facade and the Palace of Pimentel, birthplace of a famous king, making it a must-visit for tourists.
This space, where the history of Court Valladolid can still be felt, owes its name to the temple that dominates it. The magnificent facade of the Church of San Pablo is a true stone altarpiece. Originally, it only had the lower body and the pediment, elevated to its current location in the 17th century at the request of the Duke of Lerma. On the corner with Calle de las Angustias is the Palace of Pimentel, birthplace of Philip II on May 21, 1527.
