The place where the Peñafrancia stream originates and where one of the rural paths in the Gijón/Xixón area ends. This path, a 7.9-kilometer route in the eastern part of the municipality, crosses a lush landscape along the banks of the stream that gives it its name. An elegant transition between urban and rural. Its fabulous riverside vegetation, its poplars, and some eucalyptus trees symbolize nature in its purest state, dotted with superb examples of historical-artistic and ethnographic heritage.
