Iconic red steel sculpture, perfect for photos, located next to gardens and harbour, ideal for capturing the essence of the city.

This is the name given to this popular sculpture donated and manufactured by companies integrated into the Federation of Metal and Related Entrepreneurs of the Principality of Asturias (Femetal) in response to the request to reproduce the city's brand image of Gijón in three dimensions. They are made of solid steel with the characteristic red color of the city and measure more than 3 meters high. If there is something that all visitors do when they visit Gijón/Xixón, it is to take lots of photos with Las Letrinas in the background. Its strategic location, next to the Jardines de la Reina and with the marina in the background, offers many photographic opportunities at different times of the day.
