This museum showcases Asturian heritage with a vast collection of everyday objects, traditional architecture, and a serene wooded area for leisure.
This museum preserves, studies, and disseminates the memory of the Asturian people. The museum, which coordinates the Network of Ethnographic Museums of Asturias, occupies a wooded area of 35,000 m². This area constitutes a pleasant leisure space for quiet enjoyment, as well as presenting a wide and valuable collection of objects representative of everyday life produced throughout the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, among which the domestic equipment, agriculture and livestock, traditional trades, folklore, music... All of this is presented in buildings of popular architecture such as manor houses, cider presses, granaries, and barns, which themselves constitute part of the exhibition. This museum has a documentary and photographic area of great documentary value.
